Introduction to
Svaroopa Yoga/Beginning Yoga
Introduces the basic poses. The approach is gentle. Explanation
of the poses is clear. If you've never done yoga before, this is
a good place to start. Newcomers welcome.
Continuing
Yoga
Good for beginners and those continuing. Basic
posses plus the full range of poses.
Deeper
Yoga
Intermediate level for those who have taken Svaroopa
Yoga classes for at least one year and have a consistent home practice.
Beginners Bliss Yoga
This course is for those already familiar with
Svaroopa Yoga poses. It is designed to take you deeper inside,
using breath awareness, and fewer poses with longer holds. Opens
you into that state of bliss that is always inside. Must be willing
to do yoga at home.
Yoga For
Your Back
This course uses therapeutic Yoga poses to assist those with
back, neck, hips or leg problems. It is designed to assist students
to be at ease in their bodies. Svaroopa Yoga® offers a gentle
and precise approach to Yoga poses, integrating knowledge of anatomy
with the wisdom of the ancient sages to foster healing, transformation
and transcendent experience.
Prenatal Yoga
This course will help make your pregnancy more comfortable, your
delivery easier and recovery quicker. This course will also assist
you to relax and breathe more fully; will prepare the body and mind
for childbirth; provide a space to connect with other expectant
mothers and your baby. Women sleep better after this class and find
much relief from back discomfort.
Exploring Neck & Shoulders
Tensions held in your body reduce the full range
of movement in your spine. Because of these tensions you may also
experience discomfort or pain.
The focus of this workshop will be to unlock those tensions all
along the spine to reduce or dissolve neck and shoulder pain or
discomfort. As tensions get released you’ll also experience
an increase in your range of movement.
Discover how making changes all along your spine helps with your
neck and shoulders. Approach the colder months with more ease. No
previous yoga experience is required.
Embodyment®: A private
hands-on modality that gives you access to the source of your
own healing. It relieves core tensions, stress and anxiety. A
session will give you the opportunity to deeply relax into your
natural state of being at ease. While you rest in Shavasana, yoga’s
relaxation pose, your breathing will become more comfortable and
full. A wonderful way to feel rejuvenated.
